How we collect, use and protect your personal information — and the rights you have.

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information German Precision Driveaway LLC (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and which choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors from the United States as well as from other countries, including the European Union and the United Kingdom, where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.

1. Who we are

The party responsible for processing your personal information (the “controller” under the GDPR) is:

GERMAN PRECISION DRIVEAWAY LLC
Management: Alexander Mik
5900 Balcones Dr Ste 100
Austin, TX 78731
United States

2. Information we collect

2.1 When you visit our website

When you open this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information that your browser sends (server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring website, browser type and version, and operating system. This information is required to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and detect misuse. It is not combined with other data sources.

Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of our website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

2.2 When you contact us

If you contact us using our quote request form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide — for example your name, company, email address, phone number, pickup and delivery locations, vehicle or cargo details and your message. We use this information solely to answer your request and, where applicable, to prepare a quote and carry out a transport.

Legal basis (GDPR): steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

2.3 Fonts and external services

All fonts and files used on this website are hosted on our own server. When you visit the website, no connection is made to Google Fonts, social networks, advertising networks or analytics services.

3. Cookies, tracking and offline cache

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not use analytics or profiling tools.

To make the website load faster and remain available with a poor connection, it uses a so-called service worker. It stores copies of website files (such as pages, stylesheets, fonts and graphics) in your browser’s cache. These files do not contain personal information, and nothing is transmitted to us or to third parties. You can delete the stored files at any time in your browser settings (“clear site data”).

4. How we use your information

  • to answer your inquiries and prepare quotes;
  • to plan, carry out and invoice transports and related services;
  • to communicate with you about your request or order;
  • to comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting rules;
  • to protect our website and our business against misuse and fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Sharing of information

We only share personal information where this is necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Hosting provider: STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, which operates the servers of this website on our behalf.
  • Email provider: messages you send us are received and stored by our email service provider.
  • Partners involved in a transport (e.g. at pickup or delivery locations), only to the extent needed to carry out your order.
  • Professional advisors and authorities, such as accountants or tax authorities, where required by law.

Service providers process personal information only on our instructions and are obliged to protect it.

6. International data transfers

We are a U.S. company. If you contact us from the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your personal information will be processed in the United States. Where required, such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) or on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, where the transfer is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted once the matter has been concluded, unless legal retention obligations apply. Information related to orders is kept for as long as required by applicable tax and commercial record-keeping laws. Server log files are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period, usually within a few weeks.

8. Security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar. We also take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

9. Your rights

9.1 Under the GDPR (EU / EEA / UK)

You have the right to access your personal information (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

9.2 Under U.S. state privacy laws

Depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know which personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9.3 How to exercise your rights

Simply contact us at info@gpdriveaway.com or +1 (214) 378-6147. To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we respond.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses. They are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.

11. Changes to this policy and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page; the date at the top shows when it was last updated. If you have any questions about privacy, please contact us using the details in section 1.
